They tried to make the ritual cool and hip, and they sent out the message that a true Catholic must have a cast-iron position on questions of ethics and morality that have troubled philosophers for centuries, and to hell with "love thy neighbour".

I will vote No in the referendum because I am convinced that Maltese society will be worse off if divorce legislation is enacted.

Having said that, I think this article is rubbish. You have to be crazy to believe that there is a link between this referendum and the alleged Muslims’ push for Islamic laws in Malta.

Don’t get your knickers in a twist, that is also changing, given that many Muslim women are becoming more educated and powerful..

More should be done to lessen the influence of the Ikhwan. They are far more dangerous than Al Qaeda.
