Which of these three statements is the definite opposite of Joseph Muscat? Pop Star--Personal Fulfilment--Representative Post?

A State Governor is not a Pop Star: As Opposition Leader he is a State Governor in waiting--pretty much like Joseph Cushcieri's 6th MEP seat. As for LP Leader, what else do you do, except for the public display of the Joey-Michelle tandem? Seems like being a Pop Star to me.

His stage does not serve his personal fulfilment: I thought all the world was a stage for Joey. Or are we talking about stage of personal or political development? He is hoping to be the youngest (or its that least mature?) PM in Malta's history--another line for his CV.

Yes, he hopes to run the Fiefdom of Malta--hands on all the controls, pushing all the buttons. Politics is gaming theory, not the lives of 430,000 people hoping to make progress in the real world.

A representative post: except as an MEP to Brussels, Joey has never been elected. As a co-opted member of the Maltese parliament, the electorate he represents have yet to vote for him. A STATE GOVERNOR is A REPRESENTATIVE POST. But what does it represent to Joey?

It seems that this last statement must be the statement that is intended to mean the definite opposite of what Joseph Muscat "thinks."

I think the appropriate verb for Joey is not "thinks," but "strives for." The Governor of State is what Joey strives for. It's all ambition for power. That's all he "thinks" about.

It’s not just what a politician does, it’s also what he doesn’t do.

I would like to to know what JPO, Chairman of the Malta Council for Science and Technology, is doing to advance the island’s R&D agenda.
I’ve been to innumerable seminars and workshops hosted by Malta Enterprise, listening to the umpteenth speech calling for greater integration between the UoM, ME and the MCST.
Surely the chairman of an entity, set up specifically to interface between the former two and grasp the potential opportunities which could arise, has a strategy by now.

To date I’ve heard nothing from this man in this regard except for the initial platitudes.
There’s a whole system of entrepreneurs and employees who take this silence as a given. Time, in their universe, is of the essence.

Maybe Dr.Gonzi should take note why certain people shouldn’t be entrusted with such posts to quell their narcissism.
