But Muscat has managed to bring all – irrespective of who – into the fold: the Old Mintffian riff-raff like Joe Debono Grech, Joe Grima, Alex Sceberras Trigona, Karmenu Vella,and the rest.l The PN had better be very careful and try at least to remedy the I-couldn’t-care-less attitude that is creating rot within the PN support base.

Personal glory is important to every politician. I don’t really know anything about this guy (only started paying a bit of attention to Maltese politics like two months ago really) but I mean the only stupid thing he did was admit what is true for every single politician in existence.

Some are smart enough not to say it, others aren’t. So it was stupid of him to say so, but it would be even more idiotic to act like personal glory isn’t the main reason the vast majority of politicians enter politics, as some of you are implying in the comments.

In reply to Farrugia. Somehow the statement by Jason Micallef “My personal glory comes second to a Labour victory” seems to be paraphrasing of what Himmler would have said when the Nazi Party in 1923 contested the German elections.
