I have personally been the subject of Facebook harassment.

It is not effective to use the report function available as a tool on Facebook.

What can be done is a formal letter, written to Facebook’s European legal entity, Facebook Ireland Limited, with a description of the facts, very clear reference to the URL of the pages or dates of the posts concerned, how one believes those facts infringe on one’s rights, and a brief declaration that the facts stated can be supported in a legal case.

Facebook has its Terms of Use, available at the bottom of the screen, and it would be good if one can quote which term has been broken, or how one’s rights have been infringed under law.

Use of Facebook to violate the law is not permitted.

Facebook will address such complaints very effectively.

They also have some online forms, which one could fill instead.

To be fair all the posts are pre-mid-early 2011 when the proverbial sh*t hit the fan – with one bitter post by said supposed administrator in September – it is weird though that he hasn’t taken it down.
