They did not even contest the election.

Good to note that Alfred Sant and Eddie Fenech Adami were co-opted but they contested the elections.

Please note that ALL the leaders of the MALTA LABOUR PARTY never saw eye to eye with each other, Mintoff against Boffa and Sant, Joseph wants to sideline Sant, and no one wants to see Karmenu back in the party.

The PN managed to have its leaders proud of their predecessors and without even changing the emblem and the name of the party.
