This year marks the 25th anniversary of Raymond Caruana’s death. The PN has always held a ceremony in his memory.

It seems this time Labour are particularly keen to disrupt that memory, trying to imply the ceremony is a gimmick, invented this year. Which shows how sensitive they are to their political adversary and its voters.

Do they realise even a good number of their own mark that day? Including women whose sons were his peers?

Here it is, Daphne – I heard it over, over and over.

Our new pumpkin star from a humble beginning at Maltastar later moved on to a job with Alfred Mifsud and then became an MEP and leader of the Labour Party, soon to become prime minister in an amazing career trajectory. He is so big and important that now even his former desk buddy at Maltastar, Kurt Farrugia, calls him Il-Mexxej.

So any ‘journalist’ can become a leader of the New Progressive Lejber, of course he has to have a flop record as his main credential.

Have a go, Daphne – try to become The New Progessive leader of the Labour Party. At least your record of personality is better than that of the new found ‘Mexxej’.
