John Anon you are perfectly right.

Cilia worked at the Bank of Valletta’s legal office when Dennis Sammut was the Executive Director (the days of moles in each bank branch) together with Michael Falzon, the present Labour MP, and the Gozitan Grezzju Mercieca (MLP stalwart).

Their office was next to the personnel department, which was the bank’s KGB.

I could be wrong but I think he worked as a notary with BOV in the days when Dennis Sammut was at the helm.

Interesting story. So they do mean it when they say bureaucracy has become untenable, for their style of business, that is.

No doubt why the notary wants to be allowed to work, maybe Sandro Schembri Adami could follow suit. I don’t know, but the more time passes, the more they look like an organised network of people who’ve had serious issues with the law.

Never was Labour so blatantly recycled and rubbishy. This time it’s something unique, with the ones who got away with it in the 70s and 80s joining up with those who didn’t survive Sant’s attempts to clean up the act.

That’s an easy one. If Little Joey ever had any sense of shame, he’s long since lost it.

Like the one before him, he’d be ready to make a pact with the devil himself if that’s what it takes to get him to Castille.

I’ve always had this dream that the Labour Party would come up with a leader I could bear, and that the next election in line would not be a ‘do or die’ affair. With their present leader being much younger than myself, I’ve now lost all hope of it ever materialising in my lifetime.

Can you imagine Joey ever stepping down even if, by some lucky intervention from up above, he loses the next election?

In reply to Neil Dent. Of course he intends to return to the political 'scene'. I hardly think that he is organising the get-togethers as atonement for his not so past misdemeaners. That skip needs to be enlarged.
