Hooligans are the kind who pick fights and cause grievous bodily harm to an innocent person in Paceville, nearly killing him. You’d know a lot about that, wouldn’t you Andrew?

On the other hand, people having a good time, chanting, drinking and not causing any trouble are certainly not to be called hooligans.

Let them have fun, for goodness sake.

In reply to Claudette. Actually, no such thing as a 'job lest' in this case because the graduates in question still have 3 more years of being students at UOM. They graduated as bachelors of law. They still have 1 more year to become notaries and then 2 more to become lawyers.

And some say that “Malta has changed”!! All that has happened is that blind faith in the Catholic Church has been transformed into blind faith into the “political”, or better, the tribal parties, infact. After a generation of PN governments, a twisted country indeed! And about Gouder, well, he must be given credit for not being a spoilsport, joining in regardless, shaking hands with the PM, smiling while enduring the chants of “Nazzjonalisti, Nazzjonalisti”. I dont get the point about the jacket, though. I suppose even Dr Gonzi was protecting himself from a cold, by the same argument. But ok, a vintage Daphne comment. Impressive and hurts on impact,fades away quickly later, much like a mosquito sting infact.

Can someone explain to me what the connection is between the PM and their graduation? They should be happy and proud to have graduated thanks to years of hard work. This video shows how pathetic our mentality still is. And while on the subject, why is it that at this time most new graduates are allowed to behave as they please and everyone, including the police, turn a blind eye. Anyone passing through Msida during the past few days could see busloads of graduates bulging out of overloaded buses screaming their heads off. One bus was so loaded that some ( I believe they were the computer engineers) were even on the steps. I also personally saw a guy laying down on the bonnet of a car while it was driving around in the area of the junior college. Pathetic and totally irresponsible. Are these the future generation our country will rely on?

1 Are these ALL the graduates (they’re not students) of the University of Malta?

2 Is Charlon Gouder a Nationalist?
