Alfred Sant was right when he used to criticize him on the various alleged cases of corruption.

No wonder many think that most politicians are corrupt and are in it for what they can get out of it.

He makes every speech as if it were the final night of his farewell tour. Surely it can’t be that bad up in Brussels?

Let us repeat the facts, lest we forget them: John Dalli scoops up a six-figure salary as EU commissioner. On top of that he adds a bit more cash as consultant for firms in various, shall we say, hotspots.

The man’s loaded.

His career has been a string of crowning successes. The least he could do is smile. Smile, for fuck’s sake.
