At 9:30pm on Christmas Day, the Super One presenter told his listeners that:

(1) on this day 16 years ago, Dean Martin died. ;

(2) Dean Martin was a singer who recorded songs like “Mee-Maw-Rice are made of this” (Memories are made of this).

He even split the syllables. It sounded like he was having trouble reading his script. I couldn’t believe my ears and I don’t know who this presenter is but I do hope he’s not in line for a government appointment if the LP wins the next election.

Speaking of coconuts, think-tanks, etc. I. M. Beck’s article in today’s The Times really makes good reading. I suspect that the coconut people at Mile End woukld find it difficult to understand, though.

But what impresses me most Daphne, is, that you seem to be friends with all Labour MPs, officials etc and I wonder under what profile and under which name. In the case you have the ‘guts’ to have a personal and public profile at the same time, could you just put the link over here. I wish to be your friend. It seems everyone ignored what Joseph said about the slashing of utility prices in his Budget Speech Reply .
Joseph Muscat said that the Prime Minister knew exactly what the leader of the opposition was referring to, implying that the prime minister knew about John Dalli’s proposal for a long time, but out of pique against Dalli, Gonzi dismissed the Sargas proposal, leaving us poor citizens suffering.
At the time John Citizen did not know what Joseph was talking about , now we know how gullible and immature Joseph is.

In reply to Marku. That's entirely irrelevant. The point is Joseph Muscat has been hinting darkly for months that he has fail-safe plans to cut utility bills. The more astute have always known that there was no such thing and now the brainless coconut in charge of the PL's public communications has officially admitted as much.
