Well, I`m not so sure about the credibility bit, but with the benefit of hindsight, Joseph Muscat must probably be factoring in the huge mistake that Papandreou had committed when he had called upon Konstantinos Karamanlis and the New Democracy Party to hold mid-term elections.

Once Papandreou got into government, he couldn`t get out fast enough when the going got tough economically.

2012 isn`t going to be too easy a year to say the least and Joseph Muscat and the PL`s top brass know it.

Franco Debono will win us an early election.

Since Franco got 100% in religion, I presume that he is familiar with the Crucifixion scene.

On one side the criminal knowing his death was nigh, turned to Jesus and begged forgiveness and was promised a place in heaven by Jesus.

The other criminal stubborn to the end mocked his peer, gained no sympathy from Jesus and presumably met his fate in the ever after.

It proves that it is never too late to come to one’s senses, sincerely repent and move on.

JPO may have realized and seized the opportunity in a timely fashion.

Franco Debono, on the other hand, has dug in, remains obstinate and will meet his doom because of his perseverance of error.
