It has been stated by sport analysts that Roberto Baggio will always be remembered for the wrong reason – the penalty which he missed in the World Cup finals of 2004 against Brazil.

That goes to show that one important wrong move can damage an otherwise brilliant career.

But he will also be remembered for his problems with various managers, and he actually wrote about those issues in his autobiography entitled “Una porta nel cielo” – which has been translated as either “A goal in the sky” or “A gate in the sky.”

If I remember well, at the time he missed his 1994 penalty (was he trying to score in that goal in the sky?) he had problems with Sacchi.
