He inadvertently forgot to include JPO and Franco Debono in the same admonishment.

It is not JPO who is childish but Turkey and its government for not recognising national guilt for the Armenian genocide.

Many people in Europe think that Turkey acts like a regional bully. One can only look at the invasion of Cyprus and the ensuing political impasse. If I had to choose between a bully and someone childish, I would go for the latter.

I wonder if JPO actually thought of what the EU (in its current state) could offer to Turkey, a country that can emerge economically stronger than most EU states presently are.

All these young politicians! One would have thought they would be more technical, more educated, of an improved calibre (just like a child who is brought up and raised by loving parents to be better off in the future).

Sadly, they are taking this country back to the pits, and for young adults like myself, they are really spoiling our future with such shenanigans and theatrical shows. I really don’t know how else to put it, but opening local papers saddens me more and more each day.

[Daphne – Just a note: JPO isn’t young. He’s pushing 50. People used to be grandparents at that age, and very often are today.]
