Can’t you come to some agreement with the mother- in-law, and give her the honour?

Of course only if you are living in Baghdad.

Thankfully we don’t have any mines here, but you must be very careful of the holes and whatever.

Perhaps one day someone will carry out a survey to see whether we have more accidents here, because of the state of the streets ,and in Iraq because of mines.

Well, apart from their gene pool, Muscat and the Duke of Edinburgh most certainly differ when it comes to being entertaining with quips. Talking of which, I would love to have heard a quip from Prince Philip had he been in Prince Juan Carlos’ place when Muscat turned up several minutes late for their scheduled meeting because he purportedly got held up in traffic.
