Alan Gordmaina probably thinks that Marlene is a director of some big company, employing some 500 people.

Marlene’s pretentiousness might give that impression to those who do not know her well.

Usually, unlike Marlene, real business people keep a low profile. They concentrate on the running of their business, and shut the hell up.

If you really want to get Marlene’s goat, just publish a picture of a beaming John Attard Montalto after his election to the European Parliament in 2009 (or at any time for that matter).

Marlene had a head start of some 5,000 votes and thought it was done and dusted.

But John came up from behind, surname and all. It was almost cruel, but not quite. Such a contrast in background and personalities, too.
