Stanley J. Clews was the sports editor at The Times when that newspaper epitomised what serious journalism is all about.

Apart from the ‘constipation’ farce we had the main page displaying a bikini clad model. How sad! The item could have been displayed in the variety pages, with something more relevant to the world or Maltese news on the main page instead.
