It was a stormy February night and even though she was already running late (the meeting ended at almost 9.00pm), she put us under no pressure to hurry up. This while she had a young child/family to go to in Gozo and there was no way she’d be home before 10pm, after a long drive and a dodgy crossing. I have no difficulty in saying I really appreciated her commitment and interest.

Of course, if her target audience is what it is and she plays to the gallery, I can understand that too.

All I can say is that if the LP do get to govern, and Dr Caruana continues to seek feedback from an NGO I’m involved in, I will gladly give her mine.
