Whatever the outcome of the general election, the 3 buffoons will arrive at their final destination: oblivion.

At the moment they’re flying at speed towards that destination. It would be great for the PN to win this election but the result is irrelevant for them. It’s pretty much like the destination of the 2 planes that headed into the Twin Towers. Whichever storey they hit was really of no importance.

Honestly, three buffoons without any real power are better, much better, than 35+ buffoons with loads of power.

The price of getting rid of one/two of them is far too high and far-reaching to be awaited with any degree of eagerness. I look forward to Labour in government like I look forward to a painful bout of piles.

If this were a game of monopoly, I would be very happy to sit back and watch Labour make a real mess of things, but this isn’t a game you can fold away and stack back in the cupboard when you’ve had enough.

I think Franco, Jesmond and Jaffrey have inadvertently gone a long way towards bringing many disgruntled Nationalists back to the fold.

It will be fun to watch Joseph’s smug expression morph into something less smug if the PN actually won the next election – or at the very least to watch him age if he ends up with a one-seat majority.
