In reply to Li Ding. I feel extremely sorry for the people who found themselves in hot water as a sequela of his antics trying to push his Mistra project. Remember that some people at the MTA were even prosecuted for corruption. One of them even stated under oath that he was persistently pressurized by JPO for a positive outcome of this project.

Pullicino is not crying in front of cameras this time. How much he cried because his Mistra project was scuppered through exposure by the Labour Party. Now he votes with them.

Imagine if they had exposed his Mistra project AFTERWARDS, when Gonzi had made him a minister already. Why doesn’t he see what a catasrophic effect that would have had, and how he would have been obliged to resign before he was sacked?

I seem to remember the nationwide sense of approval for the prime minister’s decison, a few weeks after the general election, NOT to make JPO a minister IN SPITE of his strong showing in the polling booth.

Kudos for the PM for doing what was morally right at the time.

Wasn’t Jesmond Mugliett a Mepa minister in the past?
