In reply to Macduff. One shouldn't forget that Marlene tried the PN ticket as well, not sure when, but can assume when still with our dear Jeff. People in Zurrieq found it rather strange, given that she comes from a family of Laburisti.

Inthe days leading to the Mistra scandal and the recent Cachia Caruana debacle, the Nationalist Party managed to work out that JPOS is the trouble-spot.

It seams to me that the party officials always knew about JPOS’s split loyalities and Carmen Ciantar’s true allegiance, and they never did anything about it.

He shouldn’t have been allowed to contest the 2003 election, let alone the one in 2008.
