It was meticulously planned, but Joseph Muscat screwed it up for them. Since the PN was forewarned, it could act preemptively and send Labour’s plans haywire and punch holes in the story.

But I doubt the PN would have acted in the same manner, had it known that JPOS was lying.

I wonder how they are living with the suspicion that one of their own, Joseph Muscat, who was safely ensconced in Brussels at that time, willingly derailed the party’s chances of election so that he would succeed Alfred Sant as Leader.
