Once a psychiatrist friend of mine told me that if one is paranoiac, one starts to see ghosts wherever one wishes and not where reason would tell you that one should normally expect to see them. He continued to say that actually it is this condition that points to the fact that the individual is paranoiac.

I just listened to the tape and read the transcript, ssince watching Super One plays havoc with my blood pressure.

What with all the fuss, I thought it would have been groundbreaking.

But now that I heard the wretched thing I cannot for the life of me see what all the fuss is about. Richard Cachia Caruana never implicates for one second de Marco or Lawrence Gatt in his attempted murder.

It’s unbelievably stupid of Super One to have understood anything of the sort from that recording, or to suggest it deliberately and falsely.

I fully agree with this comment.

I was shocked to hear One News claim that Richard Cachia Caruana ‘implika lil’ Guido Demarco in the attempted murder. This was before I heard the actual recording.

The implication was that he believed Demarco had in some way associated himself with whoever masterminded the crime.

This is deceit of the highest order, and deeply slanderous to both men.

But when I heard the recording, I saw that this was not true at all and could not even be inferred from what was said.

The same can be said re reference to ex-Minister Lawrence Gatt.

Never have Labour stooped so low.
