This would certainly make up for the income lost by lowering water and electricity rates, but would be a nightmare to implement…just like CET.

In at least the faculties of Science and Medicine, plagiarism has always been taken very seriuosly.

During the past 3 years or so, the University of Malta has invested in an electronic system to identify plagiarism (Turnitin). There were instances where students failed to obtain their degrees and others where fined and asked to resubmit.
