I do not want to make a habit of reading Franco’s blog as it has no artistic or intellectual value – he cannot even control his caps lock in the hurry to get his shouts out, but to say the following is so amusing:

“Who would ever dream of complaining about having Louis Galea, Ninu Zammit and Helen damato on the district!? Let alone complain about the newcomers!” FD

He only spent the last election campaign (saying) having his canvassers say that Louis Galea is earmarked to be President, Ninu is ‘marid’ and Helen is a ‘bicca tijcer’.

This is nothing short of an incredible feat. If all factors are weighted in this blog would blow the roof off any “most-visited-sites” stats.

In the perennial digital marketing debate whether content is still king, this blog would present an insurmountable argument for detractors.

THE HAIRCUT

Blessed are those that can give without remembering, and take without forgetting.

One day a florist went to a barber for a haircut. After the cut, he asked about his bill, and the barber replied, ‘I cannot accept money from you, I’m doing community service this week.’

The florist was pleased and left the shop.

When the barber went to open his shop the next morning, there was a ‘thank you’ card and a dozen roses waiting for him at his door.

Later, a cop comes in for a haircut, and when he tries to pay his bill, the barber again replied, ‘I cannot accept money from you, I’m doing community service this week.’

The cop was happy and left the shop.

The next morning when the barber went to open up, there was a ‘thank you ‘ card and a dozen pastizzi waiting for him at his door.

Then a Member of Parliament came in for a haircut, and when he went to pay his bill, the barber again replied, ‘I cannot accept money from you. I’m doing community service this week.’

The Member of Parliament was very happy and left the shop.

The next morning, when the barber went to open up, there were a dozen Members of Parliament lined up waiting for a free haircut.
