Joseph to be given the date preferably a couple of weeks in advance. Now that Godfrey Grima said how fickle and comfortable he is with number crunching, the PM could be in for a challenge.

Unless he sprains the other ankle.

A week or so ago, someone took umbrage at my choice of words when I said that JPOS was probably one of the most hated men on the island. He’s done his worst and his constituents will never forgive him. I for one will not.

I hope now that the weasel’s resignation will free Richard Cachia Caruana, Lawrence Gonzi, Austin Gatt and Joe Saliba – not to mention the new blood in the party – to come up with a realistic electoral orogramme, and throw a few good punches of their own because they’ve been on the receiving end for too long.

It’s time the (M)LP answered all the questions they’ve been avoiding about their populist electoral promises.
