Too much makeup, heels too high, strained voices, contrived poses, too much fondness for Maltese platters, too much attachment to their law degrees, too much bling, horrible nasal accents, obscene amounts of hair product, and in the end, it must be admitted, wrong choice of boyfriend.

I’m not talking about Kurt Farrugia, who by the way isn’t that old either, but just turned 30 (though he does look 40). Nature hasn’t been kind to him, so nothing he wears will ever make him look like an Adonis.

I’m talking about his group of male friends, who are obviously still in their 20s but look like they’re wearing a shirt their mummy bought them from Just Jeans in Paola or Simon’s of Bormla.
