By the same argument, what charges should be brought against Franco Debono and JPO both causing the resignation of a Minister and an Ambassador, akin to killing their career, when they come up to face the Party Executive on the 12th?

Cannot wait to see both and Mugliett getting the proverbial kick in their ass. Anything less would be a travesty.

I can see two new careers developing after July 12. The first would get back to fighting cocks while the latter will go back to injecting Botox between sipping Earl Grey and/or sobering up.

The third is still wondering how he got himself involved with the other two and got himself into their back pockets.

In submissions for bail, Dr Franco Debono representing Cuschieri (with Rachel and Sarah Tua) said the charge of voluntary homicide was excessive and in the worst case scenario it should be involuntary homicide.

He said this was not a case of one extreme to another since in the past there were more serious cases where officers shot at migrants and were not arraigned. He said one had to keep in mind the character of all involved. The accused were soldiers who had gone out to work.

They were family men while the accused had escaped for three years and had clashes with other people in detention.

Please correct me if I’m wrong but what is the difference between letting one immigrant die in a van and leaving a boat full of immigrants in distress all alone in the middle of nowhere?
