If you were to say ‘Black trash’ it would most certainly result in accusations of racism. ‘White trash’ is a racist term.

Yes, if black trash were actually a term (it isn’t), and if it were to be used by white people (it isn’t), then it would be racist. Also, if ‘white trash’ had been coined by black people to be used by black people, then it would be racist. But it wasn’t and it isn’t.
