I'm so used to working with leaders that I never question authority. In my line of work, one does not question, one follows.

As for you, Mr Privitera, your career seems to have been spent on an armchair criticising everything under the sun, sharing stupid and outmoded opinions. No wonder you very much agree with Franco Debono.

Correct me if I am wrong, but I do not recall Joseph saying when he will reduce the energy bills. He talks about being able to reduce them once Enemalta is more efficient and we are able to take advantage of the connector and other alternative energy solutions, which incidentally are being implemented by a Nationalist Government as we speak.

With a little commen sense (or in Malta's case, uncommon sense) one would realise the this reduction in costs will only come about in the future, once all these efficiencies materialise. So for whoever is going to vote Labour because of these promises, think again, because Labour will not reduce the cost. This is just a cheap gimmick, created by a cheap party who thinks that Malta is a cheap country.

Just heard on Sky that UK gas and electricity prices are to increase by about 9% this November.

Curious to know how are utility bills are to go down if PL is in power after next election.

By the way, today's The Times editorial is calling for more substance and less smoke and sound bites in PL's electoral manifesto ( still in course of being drafted).

http://www.bbc.com/news/business-19921042

Joseph has not done his homework well and he should be realizing this with each day that passes and with every higher energy cost announcement made locally or internationally. Whatever the small reduction token he is planning to make, it will tantamount to gross mismanagement in this spiraling scenario of prices.

How can you trust such a person?

To Franco: doesn't this call for a confidence motion in the leader of the opposition?
