Seven years down the line and one of the priorities is to go back to a system of representation where voters get to choose. They’re looking at a two step process, choice of party depending on the program, choice of mp’s depending on their suitability for the job elected from ‘measurable’ districts.

In which order is open to debate, even because it would require an effort on behalf of all parties to subscribe. Smaller parties uncomfortable, saying it favours the two main ones.

Another problem would be the excessive numbers needed.
