But I doubt that the EU Parliament can interfere with the business of the Commission. Martin Schulz has already hinted in this sense.

Which is why OLAF insists it performed a swift thorugh investigation and that the set up works.

We can go on forever arguing what unambiguous circumstantial evidence is, what matters is the political message being sent out; John Dalli wasn’t on board with the other members.

He’s manna for all the eurosceptics and those who blame the Euro whilst investing in derivatives geared towards the Eurozone’s default.
