In reply to JoeM. Yes, it does. Even if it doesn't, all its employees pay income tax and NI, which is considerably higher since salaries are higher then those available in the textile manufacturing

Good point. I’m totally confident that, with all the chavs sporting Burberry scarves and umbrellas, we can entice the Burberry people to build a factory here to supply the world.

We just have to convince them that the resurrected ‘living wage’, demanded by the eminent, recently disgraced for his flip flop, Labour ‘economist’, Scicluna, will not interfere with their profit projections.

Of course little does this person know that some of the bigger iGaming companies were (individually) paying more tax than ST. And this was when everyone thought that ST was keeping our economy afloat.

Neither does he know the amount of employees these companies employ nor the higher-than-average wages they pay for a white collar job in modern offices which they rent for thousands of euros. Oqghod ghawweg dahrek ma’ xi magna!

This iGaning attraction was one of the best IT investment insights the PN has had. And the average Joe has no idea.
