Our electricity bill just came in the post today…drum rolls please: total of 295 euro for 6 months (total actual) for two people.

I’m sorry, but whoever is complaining of these hugely exorbitant bills is either living in cuckoo land or else has no idea of how to manage their paycheques. I budget 80-90 euro a month for our utility bills, so this bill actually left me money in the kitty.

Probably the do not pay as maybe they are on the list of the ‘vulnerable’ people who cannot afford to pay their water and electricity bill and may also be availing themselves of government subsidies.
