Seeing Frankie on television yesterday reminded me of some Dickensian scene where the village idiot is placed in a square and is surrounded by villagers taunting him. It was a Christmas pantomime.

I sincerely think he was about to cry.

He looked like a 10-year-old kid who was not allowed to join the class football team but left on the side as an (irrelevant) reserve. I saw those scenes many times in my childhood.

And for anyone who ever lived in the more rustic areas of Malta, he looked just like someone who had a public quarrel in the village square and was waiting for the police to come and pick him up.

For the first time in years I started to believe the PN could actually have a sporting chance come the next election.

He surely scares back people into the PN fold with such antics.

I can actually sympathise with this hunter. He found complete strangers in his property.

In the case of Francooney, he was the complete stranger in the property of others where he had not been invited, and he even had the gall to insult the guests of the property owners.
