So being kind of fond of numbers, it occurred to me, at this late and pretty pointless stage, to check how many votes Fun Time Frankie actually got in 2008. And compare. You know, him being a star and all.

It turns out that of all the elected candidates, only six got less votes than he did. 4 for the MLP, 2 for the PN.

Unlike Frankie, all of these 6 MP’s stood in only one district.

Unlike Frankie, all of these 6 MP’s stood in a district where a party stalwart was standing. (Luciano Busuttil, Jose Herrera and Chris Cardona with Alfred Sant, Roderick Galdes with Marie Louise Coleiro, Beppe Fenech Adami with Tonio Fenech and Frederick Azzopardi with Giovanna Debono)

So, even forgetting their handicaps, we see, going through the counts, the only candidate to inherit votes at a slower rate than him was Luciano Busuttil.

So electorally speaking, Frankie is only a star pupil in comparison to a handicapped Luciano Busuttil. Really not a comparison I’d want to be part of……..

I stand to be corrected, but i am more than surprised that so far the P.N. National Executive has not taken the initiative to expel Frankie Tabone from the party.

Likewise the Office of the Prime Minister has failed to remove the bastard from Parliamentary Assistant in the same Office. Mhux bizejjed li baqa jithallas minghajr qatt ma qeda dmiru?
