For a moment I was thinking, how the hell did he manage to persuade his constituents to vote for him?

Believe me, outvoting Helena Dalli was something I approved, and Louis Galea, I choose not to comment.

But he took the cake and managed to sway and direct all TV cameras onto him. To walk and block the Prime Minister as he spoke shows that he is a proper and well qualified “pastas”.

Sadly this country needs a full blast course in manners and savoir faire. A huge percentage of parliamentarians themselves are lucky to know how to do their ties let alone how to present themselves with a lot of elegant politicians abroad.

What a lout.

I’m watching Lawrence Gonzi speaking in parliament at the moment. The list of achievements is endless. I am impressed.

Anybody seriously considering voting for the PL should really listen closely and reflect a little.

If their only reason for doing so is because of this government’s warts (and admittedly there are a few), they had better realise this is as good as it gets.

The PL can promise pie in the sky, or even the current budget measures, but with their current line-up there is no way they can deliver results which are anything evenly remotely comparable to what this government has done.

I have always maintained that Dr Gonzi is, up to now, Malta’s best Prime Minister. In my opinion, his personality has surpassed even that of his predecessor – Dr Fenech Adami. His sublime public speaking is his opponents’ great envy.

Dr. Gonzi is unfortunately preaching to the choir in his very sensible speech in response to Joseph Muscat’s mish mash and less than half truths on taxing minimum wage earners.

I can’t believe how much Dr. Gonzi has aged in these last four years since I met him in person.
