At least MALTA LI RRIDKOM TGHIXU FIHA sounds more altruistic. Or better still MALTA LI NIXTIEQKOM TGHIXU FIHA which sounds less dictatorial.

[Daphne – No, it should have been IL-MALTA LI RRIDU NGHIXU FIHA. First personal plural instead of first person singular. And ‘Malta’ in this context, I believe, takes the definite article, just as it would do in English (this is the Malta I want).]
