I don’t agree the PN is being lethargic. It’s just that people are now believing what they previously thought was impossible (reducing energy tariffs now).

It just sounds so good and too many people are just focusing their attention on this issue alone.

This is another Labour Trojan horse. After the great changes EFA introduced since 1987, what could he do in 1996, except fight on. This time expect Joseph to continue splattering other less spectacular (and unsustainable) promises and people will get even more intoxicated.

His latest is a 15% VAT final withholding tax ON PROPERTY. He’s simply irresponsible and inconsistent. One day he says EneMalta is bankrupt and on the same day on the same subject, he says that 370m euro shouldn’t be a problem for EneMalta.

All he’s interested in is getting there, possibly with MORE than 13,000 votes over his rival. Still, too many people don’t learn their lesson:- the wolf may change its coat but not its skin.

Exactly, First thing tomorrow is to declare myself an economist, I will then expect to go on TV and spout garbage at a faster rate than anyone can keep up with and voila’, I’m minister.

I just can’t bloody believe the gall shown this evening, there’s no way he’ll ever come across or make any contact in an argument.

Problem is, what he’s talking about is an objective reality, risks tangible and consequences fatal.

We can’t be reduced to this.

Why were one or two journalists (I didn’t follow all the clip, so there may have been more) asking the minister questions in Maltese, when a non-Maltese speaker was not only present, but the guest of honour? Is their English so poor? Or are they simply lacking in basic manners?
