In reply to H.P. Baxxter. Baxxter, the new power plant at Delimara took almost five years to be approved by MEPA (PA/03152/05), from May 2006 to January 2010. The relocation of an LPG depot at the Freeport (PA/01947/02) also took almost 4 years: from April 2002 to February 2007.

No need to cart in Labour defectors like Anglu Farrugia and Adrian Vassallo. We had enough traitors in our midst; we surely don’t need any more volte faccie, wherever they’re coming from.

We had Joe Grima first thrown out of the party by Alfred Sant and now licking Joseph Muscat’s heels, then we had that Manuel Micallef, kicked out of the GWU by Mercieca and Zarb and now licking the boots of the Labour Party and Tony Zarb.

Elections come and go, but our principles will remain. They are not for sale.

That’s nothing. How long did it take to get the power station extension approved? Or the Malta-Sicily interconnector?

MEPA treats national projects of strategic importance with the same urgency as an application for a penthouse.

But I suppose it will all change with the Dawning Of The Age Of Aquarius.
