TOTSA is Total Oil Trading SA. They are part of the Total SA group which is one of the biggest oil companies on the planet. TOTSA is the Total oil trading business and not the name of the Total company per se.

In reply to Mesmes. The proper name is "Totsa Total Oil Trading s.a." (s.a.= société anonyme = plc). It's been known by that name since 1985.

Austin Gatt said that company Totsa was previously named Total. Would you know the date of change of name? Reference in the email is made to Totsa (rather than Total) way back in 2004.
