I am approaching sixty and as Lucky Luciano famously said, ‘at the age of sixty four I got wise’.With my hand on my heart, I wish that I could change my political allegiance, but i cannot do it because of my children`s future, otherwise I would happily switch, to descend to hell. And plse Daphne, don`t tell me its ‘Hu gofik ‘ symdrome. You are the best to keep us abreast, but sometimes I doubt it if you are in touch with common people like me.

[Daphne – It’s got nothing to do with common people. It’s got to do with common sense. You’re going to get either Labour or PN as the government, whatever you do. So it makes sense to decide which you think is best (as distinct from which you prefer) and vote for that. Doing otherwise qualifies as self-harm.]

I wonder whether Ms. Cutajar has ever even read them.

She is setting a very bad example to her pupils and is letting down the school and the teaching community badly.

1.3 The teacher shall foster in his pupils honesty, integrity, and consideration for others and shall do nothing, by precept or example, to discredit these qualities.

2.4 The teacher shall recognize his obligation to advance the causes of education and hence the causes of the teaching profession.

3.4 The teacher shall act within the community in a manner which enhances the prestige of the profession.
