For the first time since 1987 I am starting to look at people again in terms of whether they are Labour or Nationalist. I find that I only want to spend time in the company of like-minded people and avoid people who so obviously voted for The Movement.

For the best part of 20 years I felt I was living in a Malta where opportunity was available to all. This was clear by all the success stories both at a professional and business level of so many regardless of their political leanings.

However, the level of political immaturity and gullibility is so high that a total fraud is now our Prime Minister. Now it is clear that opportunity will only be given (and that is to put it lightly) to those who are Labour. All the talk of meritocracy, ability to work with all was and is utter hogwash.

It was not about “Malta belonging to us all”. It was about “Malta belonging to us as well”.

The campaign was used to manipulate those, who, for whatever reason, feel inferior.

It encouraged a sense of revolution without reason. It was not inclusive, positive or progressive. It was divisive and vengeful.
