Of course, the image of Herr Flick originates from the comedy series, “Allo, Allo.”

However, Leo “Herr Flick” Brincat did his economics degree in East Germany, under the oppression of the GDR. And ever since those ancient days, he has attempted to import their cold-war era political defects to Malta.

I’ve always wanted to know, DCG, is the name “Herr Flick” a name you invented for Leo Brincat, or is it a well-known one of his? And in either case what lead to him being nicknamed like a german general?
