Yes I can endorse these comments. Carmelo Abela is a real gentleman and yet Joseph Muscat leaves him out in the cold in favour of fossils and opportunists. Unbelievable.

I heard that when George Vella is kicked upstairs to the Presidential Palace, Carm Abela will take the Foreign Office.

Abela is a righteous and unassuming humble person. He works at HSBC Centru Ruzar Briffa ,and every time I needed something from his side he was more than willing to help me in my work (contractor).

I know Carmelo quite well. It is a pity that he is a Labour MP. Most probably he is the most decent chap of the government MPs and that is why Muscat failed to give him a cabinet position.

I know Carm Abela very well. Though I do not agree with his political beliefs, I was very pleased that he was elected, and was sure that he will be given a cabinet post.

I am disappointed that he wasn’t given such a post. Of all the elected MLP candidates, I firmly believe that Carm is the most decent one of all.
