Some kind of magic has occurred because the video now has 1618 likes and no dislikes at all. Very strange indeed.

It only sounds weird to us because of our linguistic/cultural baggage. Listen to it with the ears of a foreigner and it sounds no weirder than a song with, say, a refrain in Spanish.
