this scheme refers to those who wish to continue with their masters and not for undergraduate students, thus the name ‘Master it’ . So the 1050 per annum will be allocated to masters students not undergraduate.

When Alfred Sant won the election in 1996, one of the first changes he made was increasing the price of the Gozo Channel ticket for those crossing to Malta for work or study.

We couldn’t wait to vote him out and we were lucky enough to do so within 18 months.

This time, the Gozitans will have to suck it up and wait the whole 60 months and suffer the consequences of seeing ‘red’.

Under the PN governments Gozitans benefited tremendously with generous benefits for every one and not just for University students, yet on election day, the Gozitans showed their ingratitude.

Dr. Gonzi deserved better from Gozitans. I am completely disappointed at the Gozitans.

Evarist has been anti-education since the 80s’ so I see no surprise here.

With reference to the above mail: the allowances being mentioned relate to scholarship for certain master’s program. Kindly clarify if what you claimed you are being given is stipend or allowance in respect to scholarship.

[Daphne – No, the allowances mentioned here by the education minister do not all relate to MA scholarships. The Gozo students allowance is for people who live in Gozo and are students at the University of Malta. Read the pic properly.]
