In reply to john. No. Dr Galea Debono was, at one time, legal advisor to the Malta Hotels and Restaurants Association. If I remember correctly, that was sometime between the late 1980s and early 1990s.

The problem is not finding jobs for Laburisti, it’s finding more Laburisti to fill jobs. They had to call two of them back to Super One.

Malta has been turned into an Alcatraz; a Laburist here, there, everywhere, above of you, underneath you, to the right, to the left, in front of you and at the back of you.

Let them go through their novitiate in governing; perhaps they will be well prepared for the next 5-year term. Hopefully, the switchers would want to give them a second chance.

The problem with these Labour appointments is not that they are handed out to persons who are competent and are also Labour, but they are handed out to persons because they ARE Labour. And they are the ones in the inner circles of Labour.

Labour supporters who are not part of the inner circles are clearly excluded. So much for Joseph Muscat’s meritocracy.
