She is Neil’s mother and a very lovely woman.

In my younger days I was particularly attracted to an actress called Deborah Kerr.

I remember her starring with Cary Grant in a ‘weepy’ film “An affair to remember”. It still manages to bring on a tear or two – especially when I play the title song on my piano.

I wonder whether our Mrs Kerr could care to hear about her, here.
