He is one of the founding partners of Architecture Project (AP), a leading architecture studio in Malta. He worked at Renzo Piano’s Atelier de Paris before setting up AP in 1991 with three partners. David Felice has delivered numerous conference papers and has lectured in Graphic Communication and Advanced History and Theory of Architecture at the Faculty of Architecture at the University of Malta, and in Contemporary Architecture at the Malta Centre of Restoration.

David was National Contact for Cultural Heritage and the City of Tomorrow for the Fifth Framework Programme As an Executive Board member of the Architects Council of Europe (ACE) in 2006, he was responsible for Culture and Communication and was on the Organising Committee of Designing for the Future – The Market and Quality of Life, a conference organised by the ACE.

Is it just me, but I think I see a fund-raising event held by PL right ahead of any other fund-raiser being organized by other entities, including right ahead of any charity trying to get some badly-needed financial help?

He should be careful. Jason Micallef will be claiming the credit for all successess and blaming him for anything which goes wrong. He’s the type of weasel who is probably an expert at doing that.

He probably doesn’t even know what “prestige” means. He’s doing it for the power … and the money. And maybe a bit of “hudu go fik” to Joseph.

He wasn’t pipped at the post as Kenneth Zammit Tabona was never in the running for such a high-profile appointment. I’m guessing that, in Labour eyes, he is better associated with something quirky and uninteresting like a baroque festival or a contemporary art museum.
