The Maltese are a bunch of fakes and fake images are what they believe in.

People should have realised a long time ago particularly when the PL and Franco Debono were seen sporting branded clothing and behaving in way that makes one think they’re trying hard to be what they are not.

Same goes for “their politics” – they’re trying hard to convince that they’ve got what it takes to run the country. Fat chance.

The labour victory meant that that PL people want to party hard. This won’t work.

Gonzi’s political strategies would have worked long-term – he had a functional strategy and a vision for Malta – this only brought results. The country needs results not billboards of people interested in their own agenda.

No hindsight would have been needed for one to conclude that this was a political joke and taghna lkoll can never be applied in a democracy, let alone a Maltese vibrant one, which has always been a winner takes it all scenario.

You have to see the election result in this light.
